Meet Coach Trey Fowler
Trey Fowler has spent his entire life devoted to the game of baseball, having spent the last two decades coaching at the college level. Fowler began his Coaching Career at Truett-McConnell College in Cleveland, GA and helped the program navigate a transition from Junior College to the NAIA. In his 8 years at Truett-McConnell, Fowler lead the development of 17 All Conference performers, 15 All District/Region representatives, 2 GJCAA Defensive Players of the Year, 4 Rawlings Gold Glove winners, 2 GJCAA Batting Champions,1 Region Pitcher of the Year, 3 All-Americans, and 7 MLB draft picks.
While Coaching at Truett-McConnell, Fowler also served as the Head Coach for the East Cobb Patriots 17U Team regarded by many as the top Academic Summer Team in the Country. During his decade as Head Coach of the Patriots, he aided in the development and placement of over 100 players into College Baseball in programs ranging from the Ivy League to the SEC and ACC.
In 2012 Fowler made the jump from NAIA Truett-McConnell to Division 1 Kennesaw State University. In 2013 Fowlers first season at KSU the team made it to the Conference Tournament Championship game and followed that up in 2014 by winning the ASUN Tournament to qualify for the school’s first ever Division 1 Regional. Fowler would help lead the 2014 KSU Owls team to a Regional Championship at Florida State by defeating the University of Alabama which earned them a trip to Louisville for the Super Regionals. In 2016 Fowler helped lead the Owls to more uncharted territory as they earned their first ever Division 1 Regular Season Championship. In total while at KSU Fowler helped aide in the development of 46 All-Conference Performers, 23 MLB Draft Selections, 4 All-Americans, 2 Conference Batting Champions, 1 Conference Home-Run Champion, and 1 ASUN Player of the Year.
In total Fowler has had the opportunity to aide in the development of 63 All Conference Performers, 31 MLB Draft Picks, 7 All Americans, 4 Conference Batting Champions, 2 Defensive Players of the Year and 1 Pitcher and Player of the Year.
As a player, Fowler served as a LHP/1B/DH at Piedmont College in Demorest, Georgia under the direction of Head Coach Jim Peeples. During his time at Piedmont, Fowler earned accolades as a three-time academic all-conference performer while helping lead the 2002 and 2003 teams to NCCAA World Series appearances. Fowler closed out his career in 2004 helping lead Piedmont to its first ever Conference Tournament Championship.
Fowler graduated in 2004 with a BA in Broad Field Social Science from Piedmont College and in 2007 with a Masters in Business Administration also from Piedmont.

-Directed a 2020 KSU Offense that lead ASUN in Runs, Hits, and Average in the Covid shortened season
-As Hitting Coach in 2021 lead offense that finished 1st in the Atlantic Sun Conference in avg, hits, and runs scored
-As Recruiting Coordinator over 5 years at KSU each Recruiting Class ranked in top 100 with 4 inside top 75 peaking at 56 in 2021.
